ACIM also introduces the notion of the Holy Soul as a guide and instructor within the individual. This spiritual presence sometimes appears as the origin of motivation and wisdom, helping us make possibilities that lead people nearer to reality and from illusion. The Program teaches that through our willingness to listen to the Holy Spirit's advice, we are able to access a greater knowledge of our purpose and the path to healing.

The Workbook for Students in A Course in Miracles includes 365 lessons, one for every single day of the year. These classes are created to help pupils internalize the teachings and apply them to their everyday lives. They frequently include meditative and contemplative exercises, affirmations, and david hoffmeister on the methods shown in the text. The objective of these everyday classes is to change the student's belief and mind-set gradually, leading them towards a situation of correct forgiveness, inner peace, and religious awakening.

The Information for Educators, the next element of ACIM, is directed at those who have embraced the axioms of the Course and feel required to fairly share them with others. It provides advice on the characteristics of a true teacher of Lord, emphasizing features such as for instance persistence, confidence, and an open heart. It acknowledges the challenges and obstacles one might encounter while teaching the Program and presents ideas on how to understand them.

A Class in Miracles is not associated with any specific religious custom, but its teachings have resonated with people of varied faiths, in addition to people who consider themselves spiritual but not religious. It stresses particular knowledge and inner advice over dogma or rituals. While ACIM's language can be tough and its methods abstract, it has been valued because of its volume to deal with serious questions about the character of existence, enduring, and the human condition.
